Arlene F. Brzezinski, 72 of Bevent, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston, surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 23, 1945 in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Benedict “Ben” and Helen (Dallman) Rogalla.
On August 7, 1965, Arlene was united in marriage to Stanley Brzezinski Sr. at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He survives.
Arlene was employed at Kolbe and Kolbe for 26 years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting and crocheting. The couple enjoyed traveling and taking day trips, polkas and old-time country music. Most important to Arlene was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Sr. of Bevent; three children, David (Terry) Brzezinski, Stanley “Stash” Brzezinski Jr. all of Bevent and Linda (Scott) Anderson of the town of Franzen; four grandchildren, Andrew (fiancé Julianne Rausch) Brzezinski, Amanda Brzezinski, SPC U.S. Army Kurtis Anderson and Kyle Anderson; siblings, Natalie (Jim) Kavajecz of Montana; Barb (Ron) Worzalla of Stevens Point, Bob (Katy) Rogalla of Wausau and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Benedict John “BJ” and siblings, Clarence, Ed, Herb, Daniel, Alice, Mary and Grace in infancy and Vi Balkam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5PM on Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 3PM until the time of Mass at the church. A Rosary will be recited at 4PMon Monday at the church.
