Allen P. Fuhrman, “Flinstone” 75, Bowler, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Tuesday June 27, 2017 following a breif illness.
He was born on February 28, 1942, the son of the late Melvin “Tic” and Edna (Wendler) Fuhrman.
He attended elementary school and some high school in Bowler.
Upon enlistment, he served in the United States Navy from November 1960 to February 1963, receiving an honorable discharge from active duty; then he tranferred to the Naval Reserves until April of 1965.
Flinstone resided in Rockford, IL for several years before returning to the Bowler area, that being his boyhood home. He worked as a truck driver for most of his adult years for various companies. Flinstone enjoyed woodworking, visiting with friends and having a beer.
Survivors include a son; one aunt; one uncle; two great-nephews and many cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Charles and nephew, Kenneth. Rest in Peace Flinstone.
